This cord is way above the other flimsy cords. Well worth the money. It is rugged and and should not break as the other one wire ones do. It is also longer and does not get in the way and you can step off your sled without yanking your head. I also get more voltage and makes my shield work better. With the original cord I would have to ride a km with the shield up one notch before it would clear. Not with this cord. No wait because with the old cord I would only get 12.5 volts and with this one I am getting full charging system voltage of 14.2. The only issue I had was first try it would not stay connected. Easy fix. I squeezed the outer connection SLIGHTLY and it is now perfect. I highly recommend this cord.
