WARRANTY INFORMATION


Ironclad 1 Year Warranty

Gears Canada warrants all products (except for batteries) to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Gears Canada agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair a defect in material or workmanship or to replace the defective product without charge. Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect and proof of purchase. Any shipping and handling fees related to a justified warranty claim are to be paid for by Gears Canada.

Warranty on Batteries

Gears Canada warrants all batteries to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions, for a period of thirty (30) days from the ship date. Gears Canada agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to replace the defective battery without chargeSuch replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase. Any shipping and handling fees related to a valid warranty claim are to be paid for by Gears Canada.

Extended Manufacturer Warranty on Select Products

Gears Canada may extend the period of the Ironclad 1 Year Warranty. If such an extension is in effect it is clearly mentioned in the product description.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not include:

  • Any condition resulting from use for which the product was not intended
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, or accidents
  • Acts of god
  • Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance

Warranty Claim Procedures

  • Claims for defective merchandise must be made within the timeframe specified by the applicable warranty.
  • Warranty claims should be submitted by contacting customer service
  • Claims for missing parts must be made within 60 calendar days after the merchandise is received.
  • Any claim for defective merchandise returns must be packed in original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to specify that items be returned to the original warehouse for inspection or be inspected by our representative in the field.
  • Pictures may be required to claim defective merchandise, along with proof of purchase.
  • If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a refund will be issued. It is our policy to opt for replacement whenever possible.

  • For a refund or exchange, you must return your item(s) within 30 days of your order's ship date
  • The returned item(s) must be in original condition and packaging
  • Products that have been 'taken out for a ride' or have had their tags removed are considered used and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund, unless the product is defective
  • Any shipping charges that were initially applied to your order are non-refundable

Requesting a refund?

We’ll process your refund on the original method of payment once we receive and inspect the item(s). You’ll receive an email once the refund is issued. Free gifts and gift cards cannot be refunded.

Requesting an exchange?

The item(s) that you are returning will be processed as a REFUND. So please place a NEW order yourself. This will ensure that the gear you want doesn't go out of stock while the return and refund process is underway.

Store credits (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your store credit.

If approved, your store credit will be processed, and a digital gift card will be emailed to you within a few days, which can be applied to your account and used to purchase any item on this website.

Any shipping charges applied when initially placing the order will not be included in the gift card. 

Return of Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a digital gift card will be emailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
