Polaris Snowmobile Covers and Bags: What Fits Your Polaris, by Model and Year
For a Polaris snowmobile cover, the Indy VR1, XCR, XC, SP, Sport and Evo from 2016 to 2026, and the RMK, Switchback, Voyageur and Indy Adventure models from 2016 to 2022 named in the table below, take our Trailerable Polaris Snowmobile Cover (or its lighter indoor storage version), while the 2023 to 2026 Indy Adventure and the 2018 to 2020 Widetrack Titan models take the AdventureFit cover. Polaris sleds from before 2016 size by length in our Trailerable Snowmobile Cover. For bags, the Small Handlebar Bag fits all ATV and snowmobile handlebars, according to its page, and the Big Handlebar Bag's page calls it Polaris-friendly. The tunnel bag is designed to fit all snowmobiles, and the Trail Boss saddlebags are sold as universal fit for Polaris and other brands. Below, every Polaris model and year on our product pages, matched to its cover and bags.
Polaris and its model names are trademarks of their owners; we use model names only to describe fit.

Trailerable Polaris Snowmobile Cover: the main fit list
The Trailerable Polaris Snowmobile Cover page says it is designed for Polaris snowmobiles from 2016 and newer, but its fit list names specific models, and the years differ by line. The Indy trail sleds (VR1, XCR, XC, SP, Sport and Evo) are listed from 2016 to 2026. The mountain sleds, the Switchback crossovers, the Voyageur and the Indy Adventure are listed from 2016 to 2022. A model or year not on the list is not covered by it.
It is built for highway towing: heavy-duty 600D polyester with reinforced seams, an elastic hem cord, triangular tension panels, and quick-release straps with rubber-tipped J-hooks. BreezeTech vents let air through to reduce condensation and stop the cover ballooning when you tow. A microfibre lining protects the windshield. A zipper over the fuel tank lets you fill up at a stop without uncovering, and it rolls into a drawstring tote.
Owners have fitted it on a 2025 Indy XCR 136, where it covered the front and the snow flap well, a 2016 Pro RMK 800, and a 2018 Indy Adventure 155 that made a 30 mile trailer trip without trouble.
Polaris storage cover for the garage
The Polaris Snowmobile Storage Cover follows the same fit list as the trailerable version and is sold for indoor storage. It is made of lighter 210D polyester with reinforced seams, and keeps the vents, windshield lining, fuel tank zipper and storage tote. If the sled goes on a trailer, we would choose the 600D trailerable cover.
Indy Adventure, Titan and Widetrack: the AdventureFit cover
The AdventureFit Trailerable Snowmobile Cover is cut for bigger utility and touring sleds. For Polaris, its fit list names two groups only: the Indy Adventure and Indy Adventure X2 from 2023 to 2026, and the Widetrack TITAN SP, TITAN XC, TITAN Adventure and Prostar S4 TITAN Adventure from 2018 to 2020. It has the same 600D fabric, vents, highway strap system, windshield lining, fuel zipper and tote as the trailerable Polaris cover.
So the Indy Adventure changes covers with the model year: 2016 to 2022 takes the Polaris covers, and 2023 to 2026 takes the AdventureFit.
Older Polaris sleds and the Rush
Our Trailerable Snowmobile Cover comes in X-Large, 2X-Large and Grand Touring, sized by overall length. Its page says it will not fit Polaris sleds from 2021 or newer, and points Polaris owners to the Trailerable Polaris cover. It does name the Polaris Rush from 2016 to 2020 in the 2X-Large size.
For older Polaris sleds, the page gives examples (not a complete list). In 2X-Large: a 1997 Indy Trail DLX and a 2013 IQ LXT, among others. In Grand Touring: a 2010 IQ and the 2016 to 2019 IQ WideTrak. Measure your sled and use the size chart on the product page.
Matryx, Axys and other chassis names
Many riders search by chassis, such as a Matryx cover or an Axys cover. Our fit lists are written by model name and year, not by chassis. Find your model name (Indy XCR, Switchback Assault, Pro RMK and so on) and its year on the list. Not there? Ask us before you buy.

Polaris snowmobile bags: handlebar, tunnel and saddlebags
A gear bag goes in one of three places: the handlebars, the tunnel behind the seat, or beside the rear seat. Our snowmobile luggage guide compares the three in detail. Here is what fits a Polaris.
Polaris snowmobile handlebar bag
The Small Handlebar Bag fits all ATV and snowmobile handlebars, according to its page. It measures 9.5 inches wide, 5 inches high and 4.5 inches deep (not counting the front pocket), installs without tools, and has a key ring inside the main pocket, reflective beading and long zipper pulls you can work with gloves on.
The Big Handlebar Bag is the roomier one, at 12 inches long, 5.5 deep and 7.5 high, with a main pocket, a front pocket and a stowaway map pouch inside. Its page lists waterproof zippers. Its page calls it Polaris-friendly.
Owners have strapped our handlebar bags on a Polaris RMK, a 2017 Voyageur and a 2022 Switchback, where one rider says it holds a pair of goggles securely.
Tunnel bag for a Polaris
The Universal Snowmobile Tunnel Bag is designed to fit all snowmobiles. It measures 16.5 inches long and 10 wide and expands from 9.5 to 12.5 inches high. A four-point cam buckle system lets you mount it lengthwise or crosswise, and straps on top and on the side hold a shovel blade and handle. Covered zippers keep snow out, and the base is anti-slip and anti-scratch.
One owner installed it on a 2019 Indy XC 129 and found it about as big as that chassis takes. Another fitted it on a Polaris Dragon by bolting the clips into the tunnel slots with T-slot bolts.
Take your time with the straps on the first install. Owners of the Trail Boss saddlebags say the straps take some figuring out, but once every strap and snap is set, the bags come off and go back on quickly.
Polaris snowmobile saddlebags
The Trail Boss Snowmobile Saddlebags are sold as universal fit for Polaris, Ski-Doo, Yamaha and Arctic Cat sleds. They come as a left and right pair, each 16 inches long, 6.5 wide and 13.5 high, in heavy-duty 1200D Technolast with reflective trim and covered zippers. Extra-long rear straps suit long-track sleds. Rivets and flat washers come in the box. One owner who could not rivet to his tunnel attached the straps to the running board instead.

Which cover and bag to buy for your Polaris
- Find your model and year in the table. Not there? Measure and ask us.
- Trailer or garage? Towing to the trailhead calls for a 600D trailerable cover; for a sled kept inside, the storage cover is enough.
- Pick your bags by what you carry. A handlebar bag for keys, phone and goggles; a tunnel bag for the shovel, spare layers and lunch; saddlebags if you want the load beside the seat, designed to leave room for a passenger's legs.

Questions riders ask us
My 2023 or newer RMK, Switchback or Voyageur is not on the list. What fits?
Those lines are listed up to 2022 on the Polaris cover pages, and the Trailerable Snowmobile Cover does not fit Polaris sleds from 2021 on. Measure your sled's overall length and send it to us with the model, year and track length, and we will check before you order.
Will the cover stay on day to day without strapping under the sled?
The elastic hem holds it for everyday covering in the driveway. In wind, use the straps too.
Can I tow with the Polaris storage cover?
It is sold for indoor storage and uses lighter 210D fabric. For trailering, choose the 600D Trailerable Polaris Snowmobile Cover or, for the models on its list, the AdventureFit.
Can I refuel without taking the cover off?
Yes. The Trailerable Polaris cover, the Polaris storage cover and the AdventureFit all have a zipper over the fuel tank.
Which handlebar bag holds goggles?
Owners tell us goggles fit in our handlebar bags, one with spare lenses too. For more than that, take the Big Handlebar Bag.
Do I have to drill to mount the tunnel bag?
Not always. The cam buckle straps can wrap around a rack or another solid point. Some owners bolt the clips into their tunnel slots instead. The fitting instructions are linked on the product page.
