Navigator Motorcycle Tail Bag

I needed to extend my cargo capacity for a long trip, and this bag totally exceeded my expectations. It’s well made, fits my bike nicely and is simple and easy to mount. The rain cover is tested in all day rain and does its job well. I actually keep it on the bike all the time now, don’t need to use bulky side cases for weekend trips. Highly recommended.

Fits XR650L very well. About 2 inches clearance to exhaust. I am using an aftermarket small rack.
I think it would fit most Dualsport bikes
Heavy zippers. Ready install
Time will tell with durability and water resistance.
1500km trip. Fully loaded. Never ripped anything. Zippers still worked through very dusty conditions. Only drawback Is in order to take full advantage of storage capacity, you have to load the bag when it is off of your bike.. it has a good low profile for off road riding

Great quality! Zippers are top-notch. I’ve not done any multi-day trips yet; but reading the other reviews there is no doubt this is a great product for that also. It’s held securely on a 2003 Kawasaki Z1000 and my custom “cafe” Harley sportster (round rear). So far I’ve only used it for carrying extra riding gear, groceries and beer just fine. Definately recommend!

What an EXCELLENT product! I was looking at a competitor product for alot more money. I saw a comment on a thread on your tube for a reviews of other tail bags and a poster mentioned Gears Canada which I followed up on. Well OMFG this was a-lot less and is the bomb, at the current sale price you are getting insane 50L tail bag value. Rock solid on my 2000 ZX-9R , will be posting pictures. Its quality seriously and built well. I just ripped 775km leaving on a Sunday at 2.15pm returning home Monday at 915pm, experienced rain and late June weather , did not need rain cover. Straps hold unit secure, 50L for me can do me an easy 4 days if I pack right, that included chain lube, shield cleaner, close , toiletries, shoes, and everything else. Solid buy, I am really happy Shalina!!! Fellow sport bikers riders this unit is killer, i seriously mean it, super easy connection and stable as can be at speed, believe me!!

Absolutely love it and as well you can stack another bag on top of it with ease - totally secure with a couple of extra bungees.

The bag is well made and great value. It took about an hour to fix on the bike and I didn't even put the strap under the seat. This will hold a bunch of gear. Thanks again - Steve

I have used this bag on a number of long distance motorcycle trips on my Triumph Thruxton. It fits the bike well and the straps used to secure it hold tight and strong. The underseat strap is an added bonus that add to the bag's stability on the bike. The bag itself is large enough to hold about 3 to 5 days worth of clothes, plus a pair of flip flops. I'm also able to attach my bike cover to the bag using the somewhat cheap but usable shock cords on either side of the main opening. I have not used the rain cover yet so I don't know about it's effectiveness, but I am very happy with the bag.

I bought this bag as my BF has had one for a few years. Very durable, easy to carry. Fits on the back of a sport bike perfectly. You can cram alot of stuff in there if you pack right. Love the open pockets on the side for quick grabs.

The build quality overall seems really nice, but the points to attach to a bike or a little awkward on my DR650. To use the strap that's supposed to go under your seat it has to be way too far up on my bike, but if you put it on the tail like the name would suggest, there aren't any straps to strap it around the rear fender or a rack. The only straps are two in the front that you strap diagonally somewhere onto the frame of the bike, and then two in the back that just go straight back to strap onto tail lights I guess? The Velcro on the bottom is fine if you are strapping it around your seat like it's meant to be, but if you want to put it on a rack or the actual "tail" of the bike I wouldn't trust it.

Perfect sized bag for expeditions. I ride for weeks on end, travelling the world and this is the perfect sized bag. Big enough to hold everything I need (I travel light) and still be small enough to use as carry-on. It won't fit tents, sleeping bags and camping gear, but it fits a bit of spare clothing, cold weather gear, a laptop and camera and a few odds and ends. I'm headed to Africa for 6 weeks, riding around the country, I guess I'll find out how durable it is, but it seems sturdy.

Love this bag, this is the second one I am buying. The first one has done it's duty for many years I have stuffed it to the point of bursting lol. I use it to go grocery shopping, 2 week long rides and 25 thousand miles of riding last year, it is a great bag. My only mild criticism is the rain cover I would love to see some grommets on the bottom to lash it down as it tends to pop off at high speeds (yes I have a sport bike) but it is held on with a leash so I didn't lose it (good design). Over all a very worthy purchase and didn't even look at any other type for a replacement bag as this one has all the features that I was looking for. Well done.

Excellent, great bag for cross country travel. I suggest waterproofing the material because sometimes showers arrive quickly.

Fit a lot in there for a girls getaway. It stayed put for 16 hours on the round even at hwy speeds. I added my jacket to the top with a net and bungee chords but wore the jacket on the way home so just packed up the net and chords and everything was still tightly strapped in with no movement. Very happy and now a friend wants one.

If I had a quibble, it would be the D rings feel a bit weak, but that's minor. It went on the bike easy and it's far bigger inside than I had expected. The two "saddlebag" compartments are a nice touch. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I have owned 2 of these bags over the last 10 years, and 180,000 kms. The design, material, and construction are excellent. I've used them for quick 2 days trips and 10 day trips and everything in between and the bags have performed perfectly. The material is strong, the stitching is strong and the zippers are industrial grade strong, which are all very handy when you over-fill them with clothing, shoes and other items. It does take a little time to work out the best locations for the attachment straps, but this is to be expected considering every bike is slightly different, but once this is sorted out, the bag sits firmly on the seat and does not move around. Gets my AAA+++
