A boat left uncovered collects rain, leaves, UV damage and grit in the seats and rigging, and the repair bill for a season of that is far higher than the cover. The outboard motor cover is the piece that gets skipped. Motor cowlings trap moisture and the electronics underneath do not like it, so covering the motor separately matters even when the hull is already covered.

Fit is what decides whether a cover lasts. Too loose and it flaps and abrades the gelcoat underneath, too tight and it splits at the seams. Measure your boat's centreline length and its maximum beam before ordering, then use the sizing chart on the product page. Do not size from the model name alone, since T-tops, bimini frames and bow rails all change what you actually need to cover.
