A full helmet gets heavy after a few hours in the saddle, and your neck pays for it. The GEARS Motocross Neck Brace Collar is a soft 360° foam collar that rests on your shoulders and helps carry the weight of your helmet, so your neck isn't doing all the work on long rides, laps, and trail days.

Helmet weight support. The soft 360° foam collar sits on your shoulders and helps carry your helmet's weight, easing neck fatigue on long rides and trail days.

Comfort-fit foam wedge. Tapered soft-density foam with flex cutouts spreads the load across your shoulders and collarbone area and cushions jolts and vibration.

Fits adults and youth. One size with an adjustable hook-and-loop closure. Cinch it tighter for smaller necks. No pressure points, no pinching.

Works with full-face helmets. The low-profile shape sits below full-face motorcycle, ATV, and snowmobile helmets without pushing on the chin bar, and helps support the back of your head.

For every powersport. Dirt bike, motocross, ATV, UTV, BMX, karting, and snowmobiling. Wherever a heavy helmet wears your neck down.

It arrived incorrectly assembled - the fabric tube was in the wrong orientation. I took it apart, fixed it and i use it daily on my commutes. One bonus is that it is pretty effective as a neck scarf, blocking the cold wind

I have arthritis from degenerate disc disease and the weight of my snowmobile helmet causes neck strain. This collar takes some of the weight off my neck. It's expensive for what is basically foam and velcro but it works

Rolled my racing lawnmower in a corner at 60kph. Fractured my lower back but my neck brace and helmet did their jobs.
Fitment felt a bit loose, but it obviously kept my neck from taking a hit that could've ruined my life.
There may be better options out there, but I am thankful for this one..

All-day comfort under your full-face helmet

The GEARS soft-foam neck collar rests on your shoulders and helps carry the weight of your helmet, so long trail days stay comfortable. Riders tell us the same thing about soft collars, after a few minutes you forget it is there.

At about 300 grams it slips on over your head, cinches with a hook-and-loop closure, and sits below the chin bar of full-face motocross, snowmobile and street helmets.

A full-face helmet can weigh well over a kilogram, and on a young rider it feels far heavier by the end of the day. The collar gives that weight somewhere to rest.

Weight and jolts from the helmet reach the collar first. The segmented soft-foam core compresses instead of stopping contact abruptly, and is designed to spread the load across your shoulders, away from your neck. No rigid frame, no hard edge.
